Good Evening. After much consideration, we decided that we are going to be taking a slightly different musical direction with our writing and as a result have scrapped previously written new tunes. After a few months off, we are refreshed, armed with new tunes, and will be ready to get back into the swing of things late this winter. LOOK OUT!

Good day, and thanks for checking in with us. We just want to give a little update about our recent activities. For starters, we just got home from playing our SXCHI festival at SXSW in Austin, TX last week. It was a ton of fun and I can only say, "Sorry for partying". In other news, we are working on new material. We have 3 new songs and a fourth on the way. We are looking at releasing a 5 song EP this summer. We have a lot of local shows coming up, so be sure to check our facebook and lovekirkland.com for dates and times.

Want the latest with Kirkland? Well here it is: We have a bunch of new shows in the Chicago area. We would love to see you all on June 4th at The Metro in Chicago. We will be giving out a new tune that night called "Some Like It Hot" as well as co-hosting a sweet after party with the Highlife just a few blocks away at The 44th Ward.
